Faux painting is an artistic painting technique which transforms one surface
 to resemble another.  A faux finish may be designed to imitate stone, parchment,
 leather, stucco, or beautifully aged walls - the possibilities are only limited by one's
 imagination. It is an exciting alternative to simple paint and can add patina, luster, or
 implied texture to walls, furniture, and architectural details.
